Hi everybody!.
This is my last work for CG Challenge - Uplift Universe. I really enjoyed with my work and this challenge has been big experience for me. If you want to see the stages of my work, you can visit my challenge entry page.

My concept:
My design concept is about the future world. People will design machines to generate oxygen and gravity. They will cover the earth with magnets of steel. They will contact alien and mix their DNA with earthly species to breed hybrid ones. I illustrated a man selling these new creatures to children. The image of a balloon sellers gave me inspiration for my design. Children have to dress in magnetic clothes because of the lack of bone growth due to low gravity. A special piece implanted to the creatures prevents them doing harm. Everybody thinks bad for devil. But, I think it's only haughty, jealous and liar. The God has created him with fire. This is the most important problem for his. Because, he wanted our like happen. I designed only ember devil, no bad, no evil... I created basic model with zsphere and retopology. While I was reading Mesopotamias on a site, I saw goddess and Gula. I was impressed and decided to redesign Gula, the Scorpion soldier. I've been working on this model for 3 weeks. First, I drew the concept art and did the basic modelling in Maya. After exportied to Zbrush for elaboration. Finally, finising in ZBrush, I brought in maya for rigging, lighting and render. I'm going to make other equestrian warriors in similar fighting poses in order to show the scorpion man's height (which I imagine to be about 3 metres). The original Zbrush model is 30 million quad polygon, while the maya model is 50,000 quad polygon.
